Introduction
SevQR offers subscription plans that include “unlimited” usage of Assets, Locations, Workflows, and related features. This Fair Use Policy (“Policy”) exists to ensure that all customers receive consistent, reliable performance and that SevQR’s infrastructure is used responsibly.
Purpose
This Policy outlines the principles and guidelines governing acceptable use of SevQR’s unlimited features. It protects the overall health of our platform by discouraging activities that burden system resources without a legitimate business purpose.
Scope
This Policy applies to all SevQR accounts on plans or packages that advertise unlimited or unmetered usage of any resource, including but not limited to:
Assets (file uploads, documents, images)
Locations (site or facility entries)
Workflows (automated sequences)
QR codes, assignments, and service requests
Definitions
Active Use: Resources (assets, locations, workflows) that are assigned, accessed, viewed, or otherwise engaged with in operational activities within a recent period.
Dormant Resources: Items that remain unused or untouched for business purposes over a similar period.
Abusive Behavior: Any use of SevQR’s systems that is primarily intended to consume capacity, inflate usage metrics, or impede other customers’ access to services.
Guiding Principles
Unlimited usage is intended for genuine operational needs, not for stockpiling or testing at scale.
SevQR trusts customers to upload, create, and automate according to real business workflows.
SevQR reserves the right to balance resource allocation fairly to maintain service quality for all users.
Indicators of Potential Misuse
Uploading large volumes of assets that receive little to no engagement or activity.
Creating numerous location entries primarily to inflate counts or serve as placeholders.
Duplicating or spawning many similar workflows that generate automated traffic without clear differentiation.
Employing automated scripts or bots to mass-upload or cycle data solely for load testing or metric inflation.
Expected Behaviors
Upload assets, locations, and workflows that you actively use in QR code assignments, service requests, or reporting.
Remove or archive resources that are no longer needed to maintain an organized environment.
Consolidate similar workflows rather than creating new ones for minor variations.
Notify SevQR support if you anticipate bulk imports tied directly to legitimate campaigns or operational needs.
Prohibited Activities
Stockpiling unused assets, locations, or workflows with no operational purpose.
Using SevQR storage as a general-purpose data dump unrelated to QR code or workflow needs.
Continuously re-uploading and deleting content to artificially inflate usage statistics.
Conducting large-scale stress or load testing against SevQR systems without prior approval.
Enforcement Measures
If SevQR determines that your usage conflicts with this Policy, we may take one or more of the following actions:
Issue a formal notification explaining the suspected misuse and request corrective action.
Temporarily suspend or archive dormant resources to free system capacity.
Throttle API or user-interface performance for the affected account.
Require migration to a plan with explicit usage limits or terminate service for repeated or egregious violations, in accordance with our Terms of Service.
Appeals Process
You may appeal any enforcement action by contacting our support team at [email protected]. Please include:
Your account or team name
A description of intended use or business context
Any steps you’ve already taken to address the issue
We strive to respond to appeals promptly.
Policy Changes
SevQR may update this Fair Use Policy at any time to reflect changes in our infrastructure, customer needs, or regulatory requirements. The “Last Updated” date at the top will indicate when revisions take effect. Continued use of SevQR services after any changes signifies your acceptance of the revised Policy.
